Who can shop at SSG?
Licensed cosmetologists, cosmetology students, barbers, barber students, estheticians and nail techs are invited to shop at Salon Service Group. If you are located in the following states, you can shop with us online, with a DSC or in-store:
Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Illinois (select areas), Indiana (select areas), South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Wisconsin, Wyoming.
Estheticians and nail techs may not purchase chemicals, including color, smoothing treatments
Can I shop at SSG without an account?
SSG requires you to establish an account with us so that we can ensure we are selling our products to qualified professionals.
How do I become an SSG customer?
You can create an account in-store, with a customer care agent and online. You will need to provide your license information at time of account set-up.
Please note: If you create an account online, you may shop once but will be unable to purchase online again until we are able to verify your license information.

Can I shop in an SSG store without an account?
When you shop our store for the first time, we will set up an account for you. Be sure to bring your license so we can create your verified account.
Do SSG stores offer delivery?
Yes! You can shop for Store to Chair delivery online or by calling in your order directly to the store. When shopping online, be sure to select your location before creating your cart. You can do that in the top left corner of the home page, or by clicking the Stores & Delivery tab at the top of the page, then simply select Delivery at checkout.
Can I place an order for pick up from the store?
Yes! You can buy online and pick up in store or you can call your local store to place your order. When shopping online, be sure to select your location before creating your cart. You can do that in the top left corner of the home page, or by clicking the Stores & Delivery tab at the top of the page, then simply select Pickup at checkout.

Are all brands in my state available for purchase through my DSC and at my local store?
Yes! All brands available to you in your state can be purchased through your DSC, however, inventory in our stores does vary. Our store associates can always place an order for you if a brand you're looking for is not available at that particular location as long as that brand is available for purchase in your state.
Can I shop any brand online through the SSG warehouse?
No. If the brand is not available for purchase in your state our website will not allow the purchase of those items.
Your Online Account
How do I register for an online account?
Existing SSG customers
To create your online account, you will need to have your customer number, an invoice number and invoice total on hand. To request an invoice with this information, text INVOICE to 1-800-933-5733. Once you've obtained the required information you can begin the process.
-Click "Login Request" to start
-Enter your customer number, invoice number and invoice total then click "Next" c
-On the next screen, you will see your customer information. To confirm this information, click "Next". If the information is incorrect, please contact Customer Care to update at 417-887-5533.
-After you've confirmed your information, you will be prompted to set up your user ID and password and link it to an email address and click "Register". Please note: It is very important to use an email address that is linked to you personally and that you use often. Do not use a salon email address.
After following these steps, you should be able to login and shop our website!
New SSG customers
New customers will need to first create an account. Navigate to the Login screen at the top right of the home page and click "Create Account" in the bottom right of the login options. You will be prompted to enter your information including your license information. Enter all required information then click "Register".
Once you've completed your registration you will be allowed to shop with your new account one time online. Any additional attempts will be blocked until we've been able to verify your license information. This usually does not take more than 1-2 business days.
Can I shop online as a guest?
SSG does not allow guests with unverified accounts to shop online to ensure that we are selling our products to professionals.
I have an account but forgot my username or password
If you have an established online account and you've forgotten your username and password, click "Log in" in the top right corner of the homepage. When you arrive at the login screen, look for the "Customer Login" section on the lefthand side of the page and locate the links that say "Forgot your User ID?" and "Forgot your password?"
If you forgot your User ID
Click the link and enter your email address in the pop-up box. Your User ID will be sent to the email address associate with your online account. Please note: This may not be the email address associated with your customer account. If you do not receive the email with your User ID, call customer care at 417-887-5533.
If you forgot your password
Click the link and enter your User ID in the pop-up box. You will receive an email with a temporary link to reset your password.
If you forgot both your User ID and password
Complete the above instructions in order to retrieve your User ID and then you can use your User ID to reset your password.
What can I do in my online account?
Your online account gives you access to a lot of information that you may normally need to contact your DSC, store or customer care for.
Profile
- Edit your online account details, password, email address and more
Orders
- Track your orders: View your order statuses and search for specific orders. Click on an Order # to reorder.
- Generate Year End Reports: Select a tax year and click "Generate Reports" to download your Yearly Sales Summary for your accountant.
- View your open balance: View your current AR balances and the orders they are associated with.
- View your payment history: Search by date, check number, invoice number and view the payment associated with your orders.
- Order from and view your saved carts:
- Create a saved cart by adding all products for your order to your cart from the online store.
- From your cart, click "Save Cart" underneath your products and enter a cart name
- When you're ready to order, navigate to the "My Account" section and click "Saved Carts".
- Find the cart according to the assigned name from the earlier step and click "Use" to load your cart.
- Quick/Bulk order with three different order options
- Order Entry: Enter items and quantities line by line
- Bulk Order: Copy and paste into the order box. Enter items one item per line when you're setting up your order. Follow this format: Quantity (Space, tab or comma) Item #. Examples:

- Quick Order Upload: Upload an Excel file for ordering. First, download our upload template. Then add your products, save your file and upload from your computer.
- View orders needing approval
Supply Lists/Favorites
- Add your favorite products to a supply list for regular reordering
SSG Education
Where can I find SSG's education catalog?
You can view all of our educational offerings on our website where you can sort and search by category, state, virtual or in-person or brand. Click the link below to be directed to our education page.
How do I purchase education & event tickets?
Tickets can be purchased directly through your DSC, store, customer care agent or online. To purchase online you must create an online account with us.
Does SSG offer in-salon classes?
Yes! In-salon classes must be scheduled through your DSC.
Does SSG offer discounts on education?
We do not generally discount tickets on education or events, however, there are some exceptions.
Early Bird Tickets
For select events we do offer early bird pricing. Please ask your DSC for ticket prices.
SSG Rewards
SSG offers quarterly rewards based on your total spend with us. Customers who spend $10,000-$19,999 qualify for 50% discount on class cost, customers who spend $20,000+ qualify for a 75% discount. This reward benefit can be used one time in the quarter following qualification. Discount applies to full cash payment only on class fee with traveled billed separately.
