Hands On: Cutting

10:00am (CST) IN PERSON

In the morning, stylists will dive into the basics with clippers (different types), gripes and combs to use. In the afternoon, this will be a hands on experience going through the details around a taper, low taper and fade. Stylists will cut with a clipper over comb technique and with guards on the clippers. Stylists will walk away feeling comfortable with clipper cutting.

• Clippers – Detachable Blade and/or Thumb Lever with Guards Edger
• Straight Shear
• Blending Shear
• Clipper Comb
• Cutting Comb
• Taper Comb
• Metal Pick
• Vent Brush
• Scalp Brush
• Sectioning Clips
• Blow Dryer
• Water Bottle
